Godflesh will also anchor the 2023 Oblivion Access Festival with their first domestic set in four years. Krautrock pioneers Faust will mark 50 years as a band with a special headlining set along with a rare performance from lo-fi slowcore duo, Duster. Of the notable performances confirmed for the four-day festivities, OAF has secured some historic sets. This year’s congregation is set for June 15th through the 18th and will again takeover a plethora of Austin’s frequented venues including Empire Control Room & Garage, Mohawk, Elysium, Chess Club, Valhalla, 13th Floor, and the Austin Central Presbyterian Church. Among last years standouts included memorable sets from the likes of Blonde Redhead, Carcass, The Locust, Youth of Today, Xiu Xiu, Autopsy, Converge, Primitive Man, Vio-lence, Melt-Banana, Coven, Cough, Uniform, METZ, William Basinski, Zola Jesus, and Lil Ugly Mane just to name a short few, drawing more than 5,000 like-minded fans to Austin’s Red River Cultural District.
